On Tribal Trails in May
Weekend of May 4 – All Locked Up Inside (Gord & Bev Mills). Gord experienced a lot of violence as a child, whereas Bev was raised in a loving Christian family. After they got married, God gave Gord healing from the trauma. They now try to help other people with their own experience in the Family Life seminars they offer.
Weekend of May 11 – My Mother: A Woman of Prayer (Gary Quequish). As a child, Gary was impressed with his mother’s fervent prayers in times of need and how wonderfully God answered those prayers. Years later, when near death, he experienced healing when God answered his mother’s prayer.
May 18 – Sorrow Turned To Gladness (Georgina Constant). Georgina has been faced with the deaths of her two sons. She shares her grief but also walks through this period knowing that God’s ways are always best, because He knows the future. She gives us insights on how to rise above tragedy and return to a positive life style.
Weekend of May 25 – God Found Me (Krystal Beardy #1). Krystal shares how, as a child, she didn’t have friends and didn’t feel loved. Her grandmother told her about Jesus, but it didn’t resonate with her. At some point she even considered suicide, but on the same day had an encounter with a Christian who really reflected God’s love and care … so she turned her life to Jesus! After attending Midway Bible Camp, God led her to attend Bible school.
